Position: Aerial Lineman

Pay Rate & Details: Wage Production/Commission

Job Type: Full-time

The Lineman plays a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical power systems. This position requires a skilled individual who is comfortable working with both low and high voltage systems. The Lineperson will work in various environments, utilizing a range of tools and equipment to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical lines.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground electrical distribution systems.
• Operate bucket truck.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform tasks related to line construction and maintenance.
• Conduct inspections of electrical lines using voltmeters to ensure proper functionality.
• Work with both low voltage and high voltage systems, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high safety standards.
• Respond promptly to outages or emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to service.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work.
• Experience operating bucket trucks.
• Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage systems is essential.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Valid driver's license; additional certifications related to electrical work are a plus.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights as required by job duties.
• Previous experience in a similar role; willingness to learn is essential.
