Role Overview:

The BIM Manager will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of BIM standards and workflows across all Samaha Studio projects. This role ensures that our teams work efficiently and collaboratively while maintaining the highest levels of model accuracy, coordination, and quality. The ideal candidate is both a technical expert and a capable communicator who can train, support, and guide design teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in architectural design and BIM / CAD management
• Expert proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge of BIM processes and industry standards
• Experience managing BIM / CAD teams and projects
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with construction documentation processes and hands-on CD production

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and uphold firm-wide BIM/CAD strategies, execution plans, standards, and workflows.
• Coordinate and oversee BIM/CAD processes across multiple projects, ensuring high-quality output and full compliance with established modeling and information standards.
• Manage the development, upkeep, and continuous improvement of BIM/CAD libraries, templates, families, and related documentation.
• Deliver training, technical guidance, and troubleshooting support for staff using BIM/CAD software, both one-on-one and in group sessions.
• Research, evaluate, and integrate new BIM/CAD tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and expand the firm’s digital capabilities.
• Work closely with project teams to support effective use of BIM/CAD platforms and ensure seamless information flow across all digital applications.
• Prepare and present reports on BIM/CAD performance, progress, and efficiency to senior management.
• Collaborate with external technical support providers and participate in product testing and validation.
• Support construction documentation efforts by assisting in the preparation and coordination of drawings, specifications, and other deliverables as needed for successful project execution.
