Asgard Resources is a rapidly growing frac sand processing company serving Eastern Montana and Northwestern North Dakota. Since 2019, we have established ourselves as a key supplier of frac sand to oil and gas companies nationwide and are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for motivated and experienced Wash Plant/Equipment Operators for both day and night shifts. In this role, you will operate and maintain our sand washing plant and mine, ensuring smooth operations by monitoring equipment, performing daily inspections, and troubleshooting issues. Experience in operating dozers and loaders is essential, along with occasional use of heavy equipment like skid steers.
Key Responsibilities:
Successful candidates will operate and monitor wash plant equipment, including screens, pumps, and conveyors, to process raw sand and remove impurities. You will adjust equipment settings for optimal washing, conduct daily inspections, and handle routine maintenance. Additionally, you will monitor water usage and chemical applications in compliance with environmental regulations, maintain accurate production records, and collaborate with team members to troubleshoot challenges. Safety is a priority, and adherence to MSHA standards is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates should be mechanically inclined with a basic understanding of hand tools and possess effective communication skills. The ability to work well in a team setting, perform basic math calculations, and follow detailed instructions is important. The role requires physical stamina, as you may need to lift to 75 lbs. and work in varying conditions. A flexible schedule is necessary, including willingness to work 8-12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays.
