Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 / year

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complete all training requirements including Zaxbys General Manager Development Plan and Operations Excellence Capstone Class.
  • Ensure that the restaurant delivers memorable experiences to guests.
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels through effective recruitment, training, and retention strategies.
  • Mentor and coach team members, ensuring they receive the necessary training and support.
  • Efficiently manage scheduling to optimize sales and control labor costs.
  • Plan shifts and communicate expectations clearly to the team.
  • Uphold service, product quality, and cleanliness standards consistently.
  • Foster a positive culture and maintain high team morale through guidance and leadership.
  • Drive profitability through sales growth, cost control, and adherence to operational standards.
  • Enhance community relationships to attract and retain guests.
  • Monitor costs and operational compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Complete regular performance reviews for team members.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and guidelines.
  • Utilize management tools for accurate record-keeping.
  • Review performance metrics and devise plans for improvement.
  • Manage guest and team member concerns with professionalism.
  • Maintain flexibility to perform tasks beyond this job description as needed.
  • Enforce safety protocols for a secure working environment.

Job Qualifications

To qualify for this role, the following criteria must be met:

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation required.
  • Open availability with a willingness to work 5 days and 48 hours a week.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Successful completion of a background check and motor vehicle report.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational skills, and a cooperative demeanor are essential.
  • Required minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • 3-5 years of management experience required, with restaurant management experience preferred.
