For almost 20 years, DR Design & Remodel in Elk Grove has been the leading expert in Kitchen & Bath Remodeling throughout the Sacramento region. With hundreds of projects completed yearly, we know that remodeling a home is no simple task! We are seeking a full-time Kitchen & Bath Designer . We are looking for candidates who excel at delighting customers with their expertise in the art of kitchen designs. Earning potential is uncapped! Key Duties & Responsibilities: Interact with clients by welcoming them to the store and determining intended functionality, needs, and desired outcomes for their project Create permit-ready floor plans, elevations & 3D Renderings utilizing 2020 Design Software which detail the layout and appearance of all installations, cabinets, countertops, appliances, plumbing fixtures, etc. Create detailed material & labor bids and educate clients on the installation process Provide consultation and offer high-quality suggestions based on current trends and customers’ needs and budget Efficiently, professionally, and cordially answer incoming phone calls; screen and forward incoming calls to the appropriate person and refer and/or answer inquiries. Handle and resolve complaints as appropriate. Call leads for follow-ups or to schedule and confirm new appointments Assist with upkeep of common areas and ensure accurate pricing of materials on a weekly basis. Provide administrative support for showroom leadership, as requested, for Residential and Commercial projects (e.g. coordinate calendars with clients or subcontractors, photocopy, prepare documents, package for shipments, simple analysis using Microsoft Office or other tools.) Requirements: 2+ years of experience in Kitchen & Bath design Comfort using 2020 Design Live or a similar kitchen design program Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Outlook email, and general software programs for customer relationship management Excellent sales, relationship, and customer management abilities Positive, entrepreneurial, and team-oriented attitude Understanding of cabinet product features, plumbing fixtures, flooring, and countertop materials Familiarity with product installation is a big plus Pay & Schedule: $24-$32+/hour (commensurate with experience) + Profit Split (uncapped!)
