About this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Analytics Consultant to join our Corporate and Investment Banking – Markets analytics team. The ideal candidate will combine financial acumen with advanced technical skills to drive data-driven insights and support strategic decision-making across Markets business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI to support sales/trading, risk, and strategy teams.
• Write efficient and scalable SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from complex databases.
• Build and automate analytical tools and models using Python for forecasting and performance analysis.
• Collaborate with salespeople, traders, quants, and technology teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a data analytics role within sales & trading, or investment banking to Corporate & Investment Banking, investment banking, asset management, or a major financial institution.
• Understanding of Markets products.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Tableau/Power BI 
• Experience working with large financial datasets and market data providers (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv).
• Solid grasp of financial concepts and risk metrics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience at a top-tier investment bank or global financial institution.
• Real life applicability of leveraging AI to enhance performance.
