What You Will Be Doing
• Creating and conducting dynamic reading workshops targeting core literacy foundations: phonics mastery, reading comprehension, and fluency development
• Crafting customized, engaging learning experiences using game-based approaches to celebrate reading milestones
• Leveraging student performance metrics to optimize teaching strategies and identify key improvement areas
• Working alongside our engineering team to test, evaluate and refine AI literacy platforms based on real classroom outcomes
• Building scalable, technology-enhanced content designed to help early elementary students reach or exceed grade-level reading proficiency

Basic Requirements
Reading Teacher key responsibilities
• Bachelor's degree plus specialized certification in reading instruction methodologies (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or comparable approaches)
• Minimum 2 years' proven experience providing targeted reading interventions to K-3 students in small group settings
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate reading capabilities, create appropriate student groupings, and develop tailored instruction without relying on pre-packaged curriculum
• Experience utilizing AI/adaptive educational technologies and ability to respond effectively to student engagement patterns
• Authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship
• Commitment to on-site work at one of our campus locations: Tampa (Florida), Austin or Plano (Texas), or Dorado (Puerto Rico)

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
