Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Duration: 13 Weeks (Extendable)
Shift: 3x12-Hour Shifts
Pay Rate: $2,477 Weekly Gross
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a dynamic Labor and Delivery unit in Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in obstetric and perinatal care, with the ability to provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients through all stages of labor and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients and newborns in a fast-paced environment.
Monitor, assess, and manage patients through labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum periods.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
Maintain and operate labor and delivery equipment safely and efficiently.
Educate patients and families regarding the labor process, postpartum care, and newborn health.
Support triage, surgical, and recovery areas as required within the unit.
Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required (6+ years preferred).
Experience working in a high-volume unit with diverse and complex patient needs.
Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse and collaborative environment.
Certifications & Licensure:
BLS (AHA) required.
Active Ohio RN License or Compact State License required.
