Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position involves providing safe and effective patient care within an operating room team, adhering to professional and hospital standards. The role requires constant interaction with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless coordination and munication throughout the surgical process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist registered nurses in planning and coordinating patient care activities.
• Support the surgical team by performing scrubbing duties and maintaining asepsis without acting as a surgical assistant.
• municate patient information effectively to appropriate team members.
• Account for all surgical equipment and supplies used during procedures.
• Serve as a clinical preceptor for scrubbing, collaborating with educators to support staff orientation.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper care of the operating room environment and equipment.
• Foster teamwork, resolve issues proactively, and consistently meet established customer service quality standards.

Desired Qualifications:

• Proven experience in perioperative nursing or a related ORT environment.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and surgical instrumentation.
• Excellent interpersonal and munication skills.
• Ability to adapt to dynamic clinical settings and remain posed under pressure.
• Experience in a clinical teaching or preceptor role is highly valued.
