AlliedTravelCareers is working with Acruex Health to find a qualified Medical Assistant in Los Angeles, California, 90045!

Pay Rate: $15.00 - $20.00/Hourly.

Summary: A Medical Assistant (MA) supports healthcare providers by performing clinical and administrative tasks in medical offices, clinics, and outpatient settings. They help ensure smooth patient flow and quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients, take appropriate vital signs, review current meds and record in medical record.
• Assist with tracking and monitoring department specific data.
• Explain policies, procedures, or services to patients based on scope of practice.
• Set up exam/procedure rooms appropriate to the patient visit needs.
• Clean and re-process equipment and supplies following department guidelines.
• Administer immunizations, injections, or oral medications as directed by provider.

Requirements:

• 1 - Year experience Required,
• Flu vaccination (no exemptions/no declinations),
• Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma from a DAPIP accredited program OR national certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, CCBMA, or MMCI,
• Demonstrated ability to prepare patients for examinations by performing preliminary physical tests, taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature, and reporting patient history,
• Experience with CS-Link/Epic,
• Epic experience Required,
• BLS Certification,
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
