\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• Patient ratio of 1:4-5
\n• Every other weekend (EOW) requirement with nights and first to float
\n• Required to work weekends in rotation with core staff
\n• Holiday requirement: 1 major and 1 minor holiday
\n• Travel experience required
\n• Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to signing COA (2 attempts allowed)
\n• Must be prepared to float to sister facility in Laveen
\n• Pass/fail testing on Day 1 - SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
\n• Complete lifts, restraints, and wound care education
\n• Floor specific orientation provided
\n• Floating required within facility
\n• Navy scrubs required
\n• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
\n• Work with telemetry and medical/surgical patients including neurology, cardiology, urology, ortho, general surgery, renal, pulmonology, and infectious disease
\n• Use Cerner EMR system
\n• May be assigned as charge nurse
\n• Work with PCT/nursing aides on days and nights
\n• May draw labs when phlebotomy department has sick calls
\n• BSN not required
\n• Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per contract or 3 shifts if contract is under 13 weeks

\nThis acute care hospital operates a 46-bed inpatient telemetry unit providing comprehensive medical and surgical services. The facility offers 24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy services, with hospitalist coverage but no in-house intensivist. The hospital maintains high standards for nursing competency, particularly in sterile technique and fundamental nursing skills, with mandatory skills validation through simulation labs for all nursing staff.
