We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Traveling QAQC Manager to oversee quality
assurance and control processes across multiple project sites. This role ensures that all
electrical installations meet project specifications, codes, and industry standards while
maintaining compliance with safety and quality procedures.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement project-specific QAQC plans and procedures in alignment with
company standards and client requirements.
Conduct on-site inspections, audits, and testing of electrical systems, components, and
installations.
Ensure all electrical work complies with NEC, local codes, client specifications, and
industry best practices.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Foremen to proactively
address quality concerns and corrective actions.
Track and maintain inspection logs, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and quality
documentation.
Support commissioning and closeout documentation including as-builts, testing results,
and certifications.
Provide quality training and mentorship to field staff and subcontractors.
Participate in pre-task planning, job hazard analysis, and safety walkdowns to align
quality and safety practices.
Represent the company during third-party inspections and client quality reviews.
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a QAQC or electrical inspection role within the
commercial or industrial construction industry.
Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred.
Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA regulations, and electrical installation best practices.
Experience working in QAQC programs for electrical contractors; knowledge of ISO or
similar quality systems is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to travel frequently to active job sites (regional and national travel required).
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and construction management software (e.g.,
Procore, PlanGrid)
