Unarmed Security Supervisor / Lead Security Guard (Poconos Regional Office)

About the Position

We are seeking a reliable and highly motivated Unarmed Security Supervisor / Lead Security Guard to join our team in Warwick, NY. This role requires a strong security background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond quickly to staffing needs and call-outs. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and comfortable working both independently and as a team leader.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support on-site security personnel
• Cover shifts as needed due to call-outs or emergencies
• Maintain accurate incident reports and daily activity logs
• Monitor site activity and enforce security policies
• Utilize computer systems effectively for reporting, communication, and scheduling
• Serve as the primary point of contact for security-related concerns
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and property

Requirements

• Prior security experience required; supervisory experience preferred
• Strong computer skills (report writing, email communication, digital logs, etc.)
• Flexible schedule with the ability to cover various shifts when needed
• Excellent leadership, communication, and observation skills
• Must be professional, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Valid security credentials/licensing as required by New York State

Certification Requirements (All)

Driver's License New York Guard Card

This job reports to John Schaffer. This is a Full-Time position 1st Shift, M-F 6am-2pm + Flexible for Extra Coverage. Relocation is not required and travel is not required.
