This role ensures resistance spot welding equipment and integrators meet company specifications, supports body shop operations, and drives quality, productivity, and cost optimization. The engineer collaborates closely with product, manufacturing, and supplier teams, provides onsite launch and startup support, resolves cross-functional issues, and leads equipment integration, validation, and buyoff activities. Strong knowledge of body shop processes, resistance spot welding technologies, mechanical and electrical systems, and plant operations is essential. The role requires effective project management, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with hands-on experience in automotive body shop environments.
